The pattern I used for this doily can be found in "Easy Tatting" by Rozella F. Linden. I found it a little confusing in the beginning as it refers you to about 3 different pattern pages. The first round being really simple of course. I don't why I had such a problem on the second round, could be because I had a lot of distractions too (1 1/2 yr old grand daughter). The variegated thread is J.P. Coats Cotton Knit-Cro-Sheen Color # 165 Pastels, and green is Aunt Lydia's Size 10 Color # 154 Frosty Green. I would liked to have used a darker green, but just didn't have one. But I think I'll see if I can find some, (if nothing else in my 'Unidentified' threads) and do another using a darker green. I really do LOVE the way the colors turned out on this though, especially the pastels! Once started it actually does go really fast.

I love this pattern! I made it for my friend Denise for her birthday last year in white. I love the way yours turned out with the variegated thread! Now I'm inspired to make another!
Very pretty! It reminds me of flowers on a trellis.
I love it! I have to get the pattern - it looks like a lot of fun to make!
I love the way yours turned out, this is my stab at it in Valdani 50

Wow, you tat beautiful doilies - this and all the previous ones! Love all those colour combinations.
Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments on this doily/motif (depending on size thread used). I have a second one I am currently working on. LOL should have had it finished by now, but got busy building a greenhouse and starting seeds. I do have it half done though, using a turquoise colored thread in place of the really light green.
Snowy, I LOVE the way yours turned out. I would love to get some valdani thread sometime. Such GORGEOUS colors!
Thank you again ladies!!!
Love the colors on this doily ... perfectly matched to the pattern!
Hoping all the plants are doing well!
